What is MediDynamic Physiotherapeutics?

MediDynamic PhysioTherapeutics is a multi focal Program created by Dr Patrick Bray that addresses the many dimensions of chronic pain and dysfunctional central nervous systems. Each individuals unique presentation demonstrates the need for a multifaceted treatment approach that takes into account all levels of physiology. From micronutrient profiling to dysfunctional gross motor skills and posturing.

Utilization of the MediDynamic protocol each patient will have a truly individualized Physiotherapeutic intervention set uniquely tailored and dynamically implemented to address their clinical presentation. These interventions can include but not limited to, invasive and non invasive techniques, manipulative intervention, prescriptive exercise initiation, postural retraining, neuromuscular re-education and laser therapies. With this approach we now can truly offer an alternative option for patients experiencing chronic muscle and nerve disease.

Insurance

Bluegrass Doctors of Physical Therapy, PLLC does not have contracts with any insurance company and does not file claims to insurance companies; however, the services we provide may likely go toward your deductible. You may submit a claim directly to your insurance company for possible application toward your deductible and/or reimbursement through out-of-network benefits after you have paid fees for our services. We provide the necessary information for your claim, including our federal tax identification number, diagnosis (ICD) codes, and procedure (CPT) codes. Our doctors will provide signatures or other documentation on a requested basis. Be advised that if you do opt to file a claim for reimbursement, it may be necessary to contact your insurance company prior to your appointment to complete pre-authorization requirements.

Payment is due at the time of service. Accepted forms of payment include Health Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) funds, all major credit cards, checks, and cash. Your receipt provides the necessary information for filing your claim with your insurance company for reimbursement according to your plan's out-of-network benefits.

At Bluegrass Doctors of Physical Therapy, your treatment is our primary concern. Unfortunately, insurance companies often interfere in the treatment of patients by complicating allowable services and covered providers. In addition, insurance companies routinely pay only a portion of doctors' fees. Many doctors' offices resort to multi-booking appointments or increasing service fees in order to compensate for the reduced payment schedule from insurance companies - the balance that the insurance companies do not pay may then be passed on to the patient, in most cases.

In many cases, Bluegrass Doctors of Physical Therapy can keep appointment costs lower than providers who process claims to insurance companies. In fact, some of our patients have reported paying more for services elsewhere after their insurance coverage was applied. Furthermore, our doctors do not book multiple patients for the same appointment slot: your appointment time is uniquely for you. We provide you the services best suited to your needs, regardless of insurance coverage.

Instead of practicing under health insurance companies' guidelines, our doctors focus on their mission to provide the best holistic research based care, allowing our patients to recover an average of 2-3 weeks earlier than competitors, and to help develop realistic and comprehensive care options for all people involved in the healing process.

Initial Evaluation is 90 minutes and includes treatment day one. All subsequent follow up treatments are 60 minutes in length. Please contact us if you are interested in or in need of, home visits.

We are an out of network provider, that focuses on a true personal relationship with our patients. We do not accept nor bill any insurance company. We can however, provide an itemized receipt that you can submit to your insurance company individually. Our prices are all inclusive and transparent. Please call for current rates.

What to Expect

When you choose Bluegrass Doctors of Physical Therapy, PLLC you will find a truly holistic and unique healthcare experience. You will not find the "usual" physical therapy setting. We utilize a holistic comprehensive medical model approach to treatment and will focus on your specific concerns as well as your general wellness and health. We can help with anything from strains, sprains or headache relief to chronic muscle, joint and nerve pain or just improvement in overall wellness.

What Can I expect on my first visit:

When you arrive in our waiting area, please have a seat and you will be shortly greeted at your scheduled evaluation time, by one of our Doctors of Physical Therapy. Your doctor will then provide a thorough evaluation of your neuromusculoskeletal needs. At the conclusion of your evaluation your doctor of physical therapy will go over the findings of the examination in a step by step process and outline a treatment plan that fits your unique situation. Treatment is always included at no additional cost with your initial evaluation appointment.

The Bluegrass Doctors of Physical Therapy, PLLC believe in HANDS ON individualized treatment. This is the majority of services we offer. When dry needling is to be used in your treatment program, understand that we only use the highest quality sterile SINGLE USE monofilament needles available on the market today. We will provide all the necessary equipment for the safe removal of all used needles and we guarantee they will NEVER be reused. We feel that this integrated holistic approach combined with a specific functional exercises will allow you to achieve your goals in far less time (and often less cost) than at a regular insurance based clinic.
